CatMatik Halo smart self-cleaning litter box

The litter box does its job perfectly, and the cat uses it willingly. There’s a slight smell when he poops, but only for a moment. I’ve noticed the smell shows up when he eats lower-quality food, so you have to choose his food carefully. I set the cleaning to 1 minute after each visit, which cuts down how long the smell lingers. It looks nice and it doesn’t disappoint.

I recommend it, this litter box is simply amazing.

I was a bit hesitant to buy it, but I’m very glad I did. This purchase was a success. No more scooping poop, and I get a notification every time my cat uses it, which is important to keep an eye on with cats (urinary infections). I had an older model of this kind, but it broke down after two years. The improvements make this one much better: a magnetic clip for the bag, and the fabric the litter sits on seems sturdier. I reported that the small flap included wasn’t compatible with my type of litter (mineral), and they offered to send me the right one. So far, so good.

The litter box is great. It took days for my cat to agree to go in, but I recommend it 100%.

The product matches the description. The only issue is that the instructions are in English. Otherwise, very satisfied, and the cats aren’t scared: they’re just curious when it starts turning.

I’ve been using it for almost a week and everything is fine. A connected litter box is what my cats and I have wanted for a long time! Setup through the app was effortless — even for me — and the app is accessible to people with visual impairments, which is wonderful. The litter box works as described. Since then, the cats have also figured out that it starts turning gently after a while, which they obviously watch very closely.

Very nice litter box, good-looking and very quiet. I have two Savannahs, and one of them loves watching the cleaning cycle. It’s really worth the price. After about a month of use, everything works well, no bad smells, very pleasant and easy to use. Just one thing: the small inner flap could use sturdier hinges, my cat managed to knock it loose by scratching.

For now it seems fully functional. Connecting to the app is simple. It comes with a good-quality small mat and extra bags. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. The investment is worth it because it saves a lot of litter. I use clumping litter: it forms a clump that goes straight into the bag.

There was a motor problem with the first one, but customer service was understanding and sent us a second one as a replacement. I think it was just bad luck, because the litter box seems to be good quality and meets our needs perfectly, and the cats’ too, who took to it quickly.

I was worried about how it would turn out, and I was surprised. It’s identical to the ones sold in stores here. For this price, it’s an excellent tool and a really practical accessory. It cleans properly, and the app shows weight and how often the cat visits. When the cat goes in, the cleaning cycle stops, so no accidents are possible. Even after several days of use, no odor escapes from inside. You shouldn’t overfill the litter, otherwise it ends up in the trash; with a normal amount, very little is wasted.

Everything works. The motor sounds a bit weak, I doubt it’ll last for years, but if the base opens, it should be easy to replace. The app, I don’t trust it: I don’t use it and haven’t set anything up. But the device works flawlessly, and it’s so nice not to have to clean their litter box three times a day anymore. Now I fill the base and change the bag, that’s it. So much simpler.

Very good once it’s set up. You need to set it to 3 and 15 for the cleaning time, because my Bengal tends to play a lot during the cycle, so it stops for a while. Apart from that, everything is fine: good product, slow rotation and a sensor that works well. Put in enough litter: I chose a fine litter, and when there isn’t enough, it tends to stick to the bottom on the rubber liner. It takes time to figure out the right setting for your cat, but otherwise, good product, we’ll see how it holds up over time.

My cats love it, even the little kitten, who’s very picky. It’s big enough for my large cat. You need to fill the litter up to the minimum line so it doesn’t send clean litter into the drawer. The app is really handy: when I’m at work, I know my cat has used it and that it cleaned itself. The odor control is impressive, my apartment really smells clean. No more scooping poop. We’re on day 4 and the bag still isn’t full.

Nice machine. My only complaint is the clumping time: if you set it to 5 minutes, cleaning takes almost twice as long. Apart from that, it’s an excellent device.
