1. Use and animal safety

The self-cleaning litter boxes sold by CatMatik are designed to make daily life easier for cat owners. However, your animal's safety remains your responsibility.

• Minimum weight required: The automatic mode of our litter boxes relies on weight sensors. Therefore, using automatic mode is strictly prohibited for kittens or cats weighing less than 1.5 kg. For these animals, the unit must be used in "Manual" mode or switched off until they reach the required weight.

• Your animal's adjustment: Although most cats quickly get used to our devices, CatMatik cannot guarantee that your animal will agree to use the self-cleaning litter box. An animal's refusal to use the product does not constitute a manufacturing defect.

• Supervision: We recommend supervising your cat during the first uses to make sure they understand how the unit works and do not interact dangerously with the mechanisms (chewing cables, etc.).

2. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CatMatik (and its employees, officers and agents) disclaims all liability for:

• Indirect damage: Any incidental or indirect damage (including, but not limited to, stains on floors, rugs or furniture caused by misuse or by an accident involving the animal).

• Misuse: Damage or accidents resulting from failure to follow the instructions in the user manual, use of unsuitable (non-clumping) litter, modification of the unit, or immersion of the electronic components in water.

• Electrical operation: Although our products meet CE safety standards, we are not responsible for damage caused by household power surges, faulty outlets or cables damaged by the animal.

3. Medical and health disclaimer

Some of our models can provide data on litter box use (frequency, weight, etc.).

• No medical diagnosis: This data is provided for information only. CatMatik products are not medical devices. They are in no way a substitute for the advice, diagnosis or treatment of a professional veterinarian.

• Consultation: If you notice a change in your cat's habits (abnormal urination frequency, blood, etc.) or if the unit's data concerns you, see a veterinarian immediately. Never rely solely on the unit to assess your animal's health.

4. Accuracy of information

We strive to present our products as accurately as possible (photos, descriptions). However, minor variations (colors, minor design details, packaging) may occur and do not affect the product's functionality. Weights and dimensions are given as a guide, within standard tolerances.
